Key to Community Revitalization Report
The National Association of Local Government Environmental Professionals (NALGEP)
and the Northeast-Midwest Institute have released a new report, “Unlocking
Brownfields: Keys to Community Revitalization.” This report includes more
than 50 profiles of successful brownfield projects and programs, five critical
brownfield messages that document the evolution of brownfield success in America
and the “10 Keys to Brownfield Revitalization.” Copies of the report

Commercial Real Estate Terminology
The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) released
a glossary of office-development and leasing terms, “NAIOP Terms and Definitions:
U.S. Office Market,” in an attempt to add clarity and transparency to
the commercial real estate markets throughout the United States.
A task force representing a cross section of the commercial real estate industry
produced the standards, which have been distributed throughout the industry
for adoption. NAIOP plans to expand this initiative and conduct a similar project
for industrial market terms and definitions in the fall. To obtain a copy, see
