Thank You Brownfield News I have had an opportunity to review the October cover story and the responses for a second time and want to thank each of the editorial board members for your helpful insights. This has been a difficult site for us for several years, and your ideas in many cases are a breath of fresh air. In other cases, your thoughts will provide support for policies and actions that I have been urging the administration to adopt for this site and the general area. I suspect that there also may be some follow-up questions from our end of things. I do have one correction to make to my article: The source of funds for the demolition project was Rochester’s insurance reserve fund, not CDBG. Again, thank you for helping us tackle the Orchard Whitney site. Mark Gregor, City of Rochester Editor’s Response Responding to the case study of Rochester’s Orchard Whitney site for the October 2005 issue was a good exercise for all of us. We are looking forward to another “Doing the Deal” issue that examines a different case study and offers solutions from varied standpoints. If you would like to suggest a site for us to tackle in 2006, please send your ideas to the editor.
